SUP/Snorkel Tours

Our SUP/Snorkel tour starts on stunning Playa Penca, only 20 minutes away from the Westin, W Hotel, Reserva and Brasilito, with a 5-10 minute land lesson to make sure everyone is comfortable. Then off you go with your guide on the beautiful, warm ocean for a 20-25 minute leisurely paddle hour paddle to a small deserted island where we park the boards on a white sandy beach. ​

Once there, we will give you cold water to refresh and then put on your supplied snorkel gear and explore the warm waters around the island cove for 30-45 minutes searching out the schools of beautiful colorful fish, turtles, small stingrays, small octopus, puffer fish and starfish before taking a break and enjoying ice water and fresh cut pineapple on the beach.

We then explore the islands tide pools for marine life including starfish and small fish and if we are lucky the islands Iguana population will some visit us. After we are done, we paddleboard back to the Playa Penca where we take a group picture on the beach with the boards..

This tour is for 1st timers as well as people who have SUP’d before and it is a physical activity. If children under 13 we recommend them riding along sitting on the board with an adult as it will be too much paddling for them.

The tour is also weather dependant. If strong winds we can not go out. The times change daily as this tour must be done in low tide so email us here and let us know what day or choice of days and we can tell you the times.
